Where to begin?!

As the end of September approaches all I could think was if I don't get started on this work now, I never will. Whilst the printer printed page after page after page of all the handbooks and readers and modules all I could think is how do I even know where to start?
After the panic had settled I took the time to briefly read all of the module one handbook and programme handbook and then I returned my focus on just the tasks in part 1 from the module handbook for now.

This same day I set out to get all the usual Uni supplies that any student wants to keep themselves organised, pens, folders etc.... I'm one of those people that can't just settle for a boring black pen and lined paper.

When returning home I thought the next best thing to do was create a study plan. Colour coded to make it look more appealing I made a plan working around my current work rota. During my current job the christmas period is the busiest time so its important for me to use my spare hours during the day appropiately, meaning less to do near christmas time! By the 3rd of October I want to have completed task 1a.
So here goes.... Your thoughts on how you all got started would be much appreciated :)

My first ever blog...

After recently enrolling onto the BAPP course at Middlesex I have to admit I was 100% anxious about writing one of these. Blogging has never been a strong point of mine but knowing the importance of the blog for my course I thought I better give it a good go!

The year since graduating has quickly passed and luckily I am not alone on the Professional Practice journey! PHEW! Some friends in my graduating year are also facing the exciting prospect of topping up their diploma too. It's also nice to know some people I previously studied with have already been through this and I know I have the support there if I need. :)

Today is the day for the first online induction via skype, I'm excited to get started and see what lies ahead of me for the next couple of years. Of course my brain is full of questions relating to all sorts but I suppose the main big question I have is 'Am I Capable of this?' and although it's only been a year since I left college, the work of essays seems a thing of the distant past. Today will hopefully answer a few of those worries in my mind.

So that's it, my first ever blog post..........I guess the journey begins now!
